Bologonja Under Canvas*****

Nestling between the prime wildlife areas of northern. The area is witness to the Great Migration from June to November.

This seasonal camp is intimate and exclusive, offering the most spacious safari tents, each with double bed, en suite bathroom, separate portable WC and a bucket shower.

Mara under Canvas****

Deep within the northern Serengeti’s prime wildlife area, Mara Under Canvas offers perfect luxury from which to witness the Great Migration and to explore the more remote corners of Tanzania’s oldest and most famous National Park. Peaking between June and November, guests can observe an annual wildlife spectacle quite unlike any other, as over a million wildebeest, zebra and other ungulates move into the northern Serengeti in search of fresh grazing and water.

This lavish camp has 10 spacious safari tents each with a double bed and en suite bathroom. A team of friendly and attentive staff ensures that guests enjoy absolute comfort while experiencing the sights, sounds and smells of the African bush.

Buffalo luxury camp*****

An essential stopover on any extraordinary safari experience is Buffalo Luxury Camp which is located on its own 60 acre private hillside site, 5 kilometres from Kleins Gate just outside the Serengeti National Park.

Buffalo Luxury Camp is a permanent tented camp consisting of 20 tents, each of which is supplied with constant hot and cold running water and electricity. Additionally, its 15 suite tents have lounges and bathrooms with soaking tubs.

Accommodation : The accommodation at the camp consists of 15 ‘Suite’ Tents and 5 ‘Chalet’ Tents, all of which are supplied with electricity, have flush toilets and constant hot and cold running water. All tents also enjoy stunning views of the Serengeti National Park and its environs.

Kampi Kampi*****

Kampi Kampi Serengeti is a seasonal tented camp, ideally located to observe the Great Wildebeest Migration between June and October in the Northern Serengeti, and December to March in the Southern Plains.
The camp overlooks the vast Serengeti plains, home to great numbers of wildlife including big cats, giraffe, elephant, crocodiles and hippos among others.Located in remote areas of Northern and Southern Serengeti respectively, the camp is perfectly positioned to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration.
This small eco-friendly tented camp offers a truly private, traditional safari experience with personalized service catering for only 12 guests at a time.

The camp is small and intimate consisting of 6 large canvas accommodations. Styled in the traditional mobile-tented camp theme, the camp is comfortably furnished with beds, double or twin, a wardrobe, changing area, storage chest, safari chairs and a writing desk.

Featuring en-suite bathrooms with private eco-friendly flush toilets and traditional safari bucket showers. Each tent has its own private veranda and spacious seating areas with spectacular views. In the center of the camp are two large communal tents, a dining tent and the other a lounge Tent where drinks are served at the bar.

The aesthetically furnished dining tent is where all meals are served, and adjoining to this is comfortable lounge and bar serving as a meeting point for all guests, this is also where the library is situated.

Sayari Camp*****

The remote and starkly beautiful landscape forms the inspiration for Sayari, with the turret-shaped roofs on each of the 15 expansive tented suites mirroring the iconic Turner Hill to the north. Indoors, rich mahogany floors and delicate tones of sand, stone and acacia reflect the views washing in through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

En-suite bathrooms, with spacious showers and egg-shaped baths large enough for two, offer similarly impressive Serengeti views. Fine linens and safari-chic décor offset the wilderness that lies just beyond the canvas walls, with king-size beds and private verandas to complete the world-class experience.

Serengeti Migration camp*****

Serengeti Migration Camp is the embodiment of the ‘camp’ experience. Located next to the famous Grumeti River which is home to resident hippos that bark and wallow their days away, Serengeti Migration Camp has become synonymous with low-impact high-action game viewing in a landscape that is untouched since the dawn of time.

Accommodation : : Migration Camp Tents are designed with the guest’s comfort in mind. Each tent has an en suite shower room with flushing toilet, shower and twin vanity basin, the latter of which receives hot (solar generated) and cold running water 24-hours a day. Migration Camp tented rooms include luxuriant soft furnishings, a writing desk and stationery set and a room fan. The tents have a wooden floor, fixed bathroom walls, fixed wooden doors but all combine with the all-enveloping canvas.

Each of the tents is surrounded by its own 360-degree verandah deck, which in turn creates your very own private sanctuary to enjoy the constant game sightings and the ever-present sounds of the bush. The main ‘tent’ has a split-level lounge, a swimming pool, restaurant and viewing platforms that offer views across the river and the rugged landscape beyond.

Kleins Camp*****

Klein’s Camp, set in a remote corner of the infamous north eastern Serengeti, offers a truly exclusive Tanzanian safari experience.

Lemala Mara Camp*****

Lemala Mara Tented Camp is within touching distance of the Mara River (and yet far enough away to remain discrete and not interrupt wildebeest behavior as they mass along the steep banks) and set under large Euclea trees in the heart of the best game viewing area of the Northern Serengeti. Here, in this immense remote wilderness, guests can enjoy fabulous landscapes and terrific game viewing with practically no crowds. Resident wildlife numbers are exceptionally high, but nothing compared to when the migration starts arriving when the area then turns into a wildlife paradise par excellence.

The mobile tents are spacious and each is fitted with 2 double beds and combining an the authentic bush experience with all the little luxuries that make it so surprisingly comfortable. After an evening game drive, your tent attendant ensures your safari showers are filled with hot water to wash away the dust of the African savannah.
The communal areas have separate seating and dining areas and are beautifully decorated with leather sofas, chandeliers, side cabinets, rugs, chests and even a bar. In the evening, guests gather around the campfire to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and canapes.

Olakira Camp*****

Nasikia Migration camp****

01 July – 31 October : Located at Bologonja, in the far northern areas of the Serengeti. This puts us in a great position to game drive to the Bologonja and Mara Rivers in the hope of gaining a view as the herds run the gauntlets of crocodiles as they cross the rivers. This is typically ideal, especially between mid-July and mid-September each year.

Accommodation : Each tent is 12 m long by 4 m wide made from well known heavy duty safari rip-stop canvas made locally at Morogoro, southern Tanzania, plus the additional cooling feature of shade-clothing over the entire tent. You are met at the entrance (on the longest side of the tent) by a patio area with chairs and a table for relaxing when you have a moment. The front of the tents zips fully open, including a layer of mosquito netting and the rip-stop canvas (it also zips closed completely with both layers).

Lobo Wildlife Lodge***

Lobo Wildlife Lodge is a dream of romanticism in its remote location, strategically built into an enormous volcanic rocky outcrop. It is the largest lodge on the migration route where it’s elevated position means that the migration can be viewed from the comfort of a sun lounger. You can watch and witness the migration even from the pool.

Artistically made of stone and local timber around clusters of large boulders, harmoniously merging with its surroundings, the Lodge affords from its raised location stunning views of the most amazing natural spectacle to be seen on Earth.

Accommodation : Lobo Wildlife Lodge has 75 spacious guest rooms offering stunning views over the vast plains of Serengeti National Park. Elegantly decorated in authentic traditional African style, the rooms are fully equipped with ensuite bathrooms that have shower attachments and bathtubs.
