Your adventure begins with an early departure from Arusha. After a scenic drive, you’ll arrive at Lake Manyara National Park, a gem nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. The park boasts diverse ecosystems, from dense woodlands to the serene lake, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise. DAY 2

Big cats of Serengeti plains

Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart towards the most famous National park in the World, the Serengeti. The driving itself, although long, is spectacular. You will drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for an out-of-this-world view of Ngorongoro Crater. This will be an unforgettable moment for anyone seeing it for the first time.
As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will know why the name means, in the local language, “endless plains.” The park has 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km); for most of it, the plains will stretch to the horizon, defying your senses and perception of distances. It is the home of the Great Migration and to 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and all kinds of antelopes, including the abundant impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. As for Big Cats and large predators, it’s the place to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous river crossings filmed here.

Big cats of the plains

Serengeti National Park

As the sun bathes the vast savannah in golden light, your safari adventure begins with a pre-dawn game drive, a time when predators are active and the air is filled with anticipation. Witness lions on the prowl, graceful giraffes, and agile cheetahs in their natural habitat. After a thrilling morning, return to camp for a hearty breakfast. Midday offers relaxation, often with the soothing sounds of the wilderness as your backdrop. As the day cools, embark on another safari, capturing the Serengeti’s iconic wildlife and breathtaking landscapes, ensuring each day is a unique safari story.

DAY 4

Olduvai Gorge and Maasai plain

Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, we suggest a very early wake up in order to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. It’s really one of the most beautiful experiences to have. After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and then we’ll proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually a Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife that is indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the very rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The concentration of African wildlife if the greatest in the continent. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have massive tusks.

Baobab Trees, Tarangire River and Elephants.

Tarangire National Park

A day in Tarangire National Park, Tanzania, is a captivating journey into untamed wilderness. As dawn breaks, embark on a game drive, with the sun casting a warm glow on ancient baobab trees and golden savannah. Witness herds of elephants and their families gathered around waterholes and spot impalas, zebras, and leopards in their natural habitat. Midday, enjoy a picnic amid this natural beauty. DAY 6

Majestic Baobab trees, elephants and Tarangire river

Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park is Tanzania’s third largest National park, known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park, famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here, you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, wild dogs, giraffe, and zebra. Post the game drive, and you will head back to Arusha or the airport for onward journeys.
