Day 1

Tarangire National Park

 

Elephants of Tarangire River and Baobab Trees

A typical day in Tarangire National Park unfolds in a captivating rhythm of nature. As dawn breaks, the park awakens with a chorus of bird calls and wildlife rustling. Embark on a morning game drive, where the sun casts a golden hue on the iconic baobab trees and reveals herds of elephants, giraffes, and wildebeests grazing along the Tarangire River.

Two days in Serengeti are a journey through the grand spectacle of the Great Migration. From December to March, you’ll head to Ndutu, where vast herds of wildebeest and zebras calve and graze in the nutrient-rich grasslands. Witness adorable newborns and thrilling predator-prey interactions.

Then, from June to November, your focus shifts to the dramatic Mara River crossings, where the migration faces perilous crocodile-infested waters. It’s a riveting spectacle of nature’s raw power.

DAY 6

Olduvai Gorge

 
Serengeti to Rim of Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, we suggest a very early wake-up to do an early morning game drive (when the animals are more active) and see one of the best sunrises you’ll ever witness. After the game drive, we return to the camp for a rewarding brunch and proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spreads for 102 sq. miles and has 2.000 ft high walls, making it virtually Noah’s ark and inhabiting almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa. It’s one of the rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a significant concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants, which are the largest in the world and have massive tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

Black Rhinos of the Crater floor

It’s one of the rare locations in the whole continent where you can witness the black Rhino. The concentration of African wildlife is the greatest in the continent. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a significant concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants, which are the largest in the world and have massive tusks.  
After the safari, we return to Arusha for a drop-off at a place of your choice or onward journey.
