Sametu Camp is an intimate tented camp in the heart of the Serengeti’s central-eastern area of Soit-le-Motony. The camp offers an authentic safari experience with proximity to wildlife action. It faces the Ngarenanyuki River, which is the center of attraction during the afternoon hours of the Serengeti.

Sametu Camp is located in the eastern part of Serengeti National Park, away from the crowded tourist routes. This makes it an ideal spot to witness the Great Migration when it passes through in April, May, and November.
The area of Eastern Serengeti of Soit-le-Motony is known for its resident big cats like leopards, lions, and cheetahs. The camp offers panoramic views of the open savannah and the Ngare Nanyuki River. With 18 spacious tents (including 8 suites and 2 family tents), each equipped with en-suite bathrooms and hot showers, guests enjoy both comfort and solitude.

The wildebeest migration passes here through April and May and in November.
