Luwela Camp

Luwela Camp keeps things intimate with 9 solar-powered tents perched on Makoma Hill, including one family unit.

Room types:

• Standard Tents: super king or twin beds, private veranda, desk
• Family Unit: two full-size tents joined by a shared viewing deck

Each tent runs entirely on solar power and comes with an en-suite bathroom featuring a flush toilet, vanity, and a solar-heated shower. Handcrafted furniture and Maasai-inspired textiles fill the interiors, giving the camp an understated, authentic feel. Shared spaces keep the mood relaxed, with a dining area, lounge, and fire pit for evening sundowners and stargazing under open Serengeti skies.
