Mbali Mbali Gombe Lodge

Mbali Mbali Gombe Lodge keeps things intimate with just 6 Forest Tents, built on raised wooden platforms under old mango trees.

Room types:

• 1 Double Tent with a king-configured bed
• 5 Twin Tents with two beds each

Each tent comes with an ensuite bathroom, a private balcony facing Lake Tanganyika, mosquito nets, and tea and coffee facilities. Locally crafted wooden furniture gives the tents a rustic feel, and the lodge caters to a maximum of 12 guests at a time. Interestingly, each tent carries the name of a chimpanzee familiar to the researchers at Gombe Stream.
