Lake Nakuru National Park

Start your day with an early morning pick-up and set off for Lake Nakuru National Park. Located south of Bogoria, straddling the equator, Lake Nakuru is one of the most celebrated jewels of the Great Rift Valley. Renowned worldwide for its vast flocks of flamingos, this alkaline lake has earned its place as one of the Natural Wonders of the World.

Beyond its dazzling birdlife, Lake Nakuru is also a designated rhino sanctuary, home to more than 40 black rhinos and over 60 white rhinos. When conditions are right, the shoreline can be encircled by nearly two million flamingos, creating an awe-inspiring pink halo around the lake.

You will arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s diverse wildlife and striking landscapes.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your chosen lodge or campsite.

Serengeti National Park

The Serengeti National Park, world-famous as the stage for the Great Migration, offers some of the most breathtaking game drives in Africa. Your journey begins with a scenic drive up the crater highlands, pausing at the rim to admire sweeping views, before continuing into the endless plains that give the Serengeti its name—“Serengeti” means endless plains in Kiswahili.

Covering 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km), the park is home to over two million large animals, including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and countless Thomson’s gazelles. Lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and other predators roam these grasslands, while smaller creatures such as rock hyraxes and monkeys thrive alongside nearly 500 recorded bird species.

The following day, after breakfast, enjoy a full day in Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. You may also choose to visit the historic Olduvai Gorge or take an unforgettable hot air balloon safari for a bird’s-eye view of the wildlife (optional, at an additional cost).

Accommodation can be upgraded to luxury options or adjusted to more budget-friendly alternatives to suit your preferences.

The Elephants of Tarangire and Baobab Trees

A day spent in Tarangire National Park in northern Tanzania unfolds as a thrilling encounter with nature and wildlife in one of the country’s most diverse and picturesque landscapes.

Morning: Game Drive and Elephant Sightings
– The day typically starts at dawn when the wildlife is most active. As you venture out on a morning game drive, the park’s landscape, dotted with ancient baobab trees and acacia woodlands, creates a stunning backdrop.
– Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population. Early mornings often provide the best opportunities to see these majestic creatures as herds gather at the Tarangire River or meander through the grasslands.
– Besides elephants, you may spot giraffes, waterbucks, and various bird species, including the colorful lilac-breasted roller and the large ground hornbill.

Midday: Picnic and Relaxation
– As the day heats up, you might stop for a picnic lunch at one of the park’s designated areas, often with views overlooking the river or a landscape teeming with wildlife.
– This time is also perfect for rest, perhaps at a lodge or a shaded spot in the park, as animals retreat from the midday sun.

Afternoon: Further Exploration and Predator Sightings
– As the afternoon cools, another game drive takes you through different parts of the park. This is an excellent time to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, which become more active as the day cools.
– The park’s diverse habitats, including swamps and savannah, support a rich variety of wildlife. You might see herds of buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, and smaller animals like mongooses, dik-diks, and warthogs.
