Our spacious Stretched Land Cruisers are the ultimate safari vehicles. They accommodate up to eight passengers and have six comfortable window seats in the back under a pop-up roof or a canvas convertible top. These designs ensure a truly immersive experience, offering unobstructed 360-degree views of breathtaking landscapes and wildlife. Canvas Tops

Our specially designed canvas-top vehicles provide a broader, more immersive game-viewing experience than traditional pop-up roof vehicles. The canvas top can be fully rolled back, allowing you to stand and enjoy unobstructed views from any seat. Experience the freedom of exploring the secluded wilderness, surrounded by sweeping horizons and the vast, open sky. Roll the top back, feel the fresh breeze, and prepare for an unparalleled safari adventure!

Pop-Up Tops

Our classic pop-up-top vehicles are perfect for those who prefer added shade during game drives. Unlike canvas tops, the pop-up roof protects from direct sun exposure while offering excellent views of the surroundings. These vehicles have eight seats, including six window seats in the back, ensuring guests have a comfortable and scenic vantage point for their safari journey.

Please note that our convertible canvas tops have one significant disadvantage: You will be completely exposed when game viewing. Accordingly, it is critical that you wear a hat and apply sunblock frequently to all exposed areas. You may roll back the canvas top halfway to provide shade for the first set of seats and sun for the back seats. Please do not hesitate to ask your driver guide to roll the top back up partially.

Land Cruisers

Land Cruisers are the most functional safari vehicles, capable of handling poor road conditions and excelling off-road. Their reliability and flexibility make them ideal for reaching the best wildlife viewing spots, often located “off the beaten path.” These vehicles are perfect for groups of one to six people. Although it is possible to fit seven guests, this setup is only recommended for families with small children.

Each Land Cruiser has a long-distance HF radio for communication between vehicles and our main operational office in Arusha. This ensures your driver-guide can promptly handle any situation or seek additional support from ranger stations or the office if needed.

Contingency Planning

Flat tires are common on rugged tracks, but your driver-guide can change them quickly with minimal inconvenience. Vehicle breakdowns are rare due to rigorous maintenance. However, in the unlikely event of a breakdown, a replacement vehicle will be dispatched and typically arrives within two to three hours. With excellent contingency plans and communication systems, you’ll never be stranded or significantly inconvenienced during your safari.
