Rooms & tents

Serengeti River Camp has 12 classic safari tents, including 2 family tents built for up to four guests. Tent configurations include:

  • Double Tents
  • Twin Tents
  • A Triple Tent
  • Family Tents with two bedrooms

Each tent has a wrought-iron bed draped in mosquito netting, wood nightstands, and canvas floors covered with colourful rugs. The en-suite bathroom includes a flush toilet, shower, and single basin. Every tent opens onto a shaded veranda at the entrance, furnished with upholstered chairs for watching wildlife pass by. Electricity runs 24 hours a day, with charging points available in each tent for devices.

Short overview

Serengeti River Camp places guests less than 300 metres from the Mara River, right where the wildebeest crossings happen. This mid-range tented camp offers front-row access to one of Africa’s greatest wildlife spectacles.
