Rooms & tents

The lodge is currently closed, so its former suites are not available for stays.

  • Before closure, North Camp had twelve suites.
  • South Camp also had twelve suites.
  • Tree Camp had six suites, making thirty across the three camps.

The earlier lodge included a family accommodation option linking two suites. However, these figures describe the previous layout and do not confirm the rebuilt property’s room inventory. Check the operator’s reopening announcement before choosing a room or arranging a stay. The services below also describe the former lodge rather than facilities currently available to guests.

Short overview

andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is closed for rebuilding, with reopening planned for 2027. Its crater-rim location remains a draw; however, travellers should arrange alternative accommodation until the operator confirms the new lodge is ready.
