7 Days in Tanzania and Zanzibar: Route and Overnight Stays

Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and Transfer to Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel in Arusha. Spend your first night in Arusha before starting the safari on Day 2.

Day 2
Wildlife Adventure in Tarangire National Park
Travel from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for game drives among baobab trees, acacia woodland and the Tarangire River. Look for elephants and other wildlife with your guide. After your time in the park, continue to your selected lodge in the Karatu area for the night.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater Exploration
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day of game viewing. Explore its grasslands, wetlands and forest habitats with your guide, looking for the wildlife that lives here. Sightings vary and cannot be guaranteed. After the crater visit, return to your selected lodge in the Karatu area for your second night there.

Day 4
Flight to Zanzibar and Stone Town Stay
After breakfast at your lodge in the Karatu area, drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival, transfer to your selected hotel in Stone Town, where you will spend one night.

Days 5–6
Beach Time in Zanzibar
On Day 5, take a morning guided tour of Stone Town before transferring to your selected Zanzibar beach hotel. Spend two nights at the beach, on Days 5 and 6, before departing on Day 7.
Day 6 is available for beach relaxation. Optional activities such as snorkeling, diving, a spice tour or Safari Blue can be discussed with our team when planning your stay.
