Mbweha Camp keeps to just 10 stone cottages, built from local lava stone and topped with traditional thatched roofs.

Cottage details

  • Double or twin beds wrapped in mosquito nets, plus a small sofa in each room
  • En-suite bathroom with shower, and some cottages include an outdoor bath tub
  • Individually decorated interiors with a touch of local African design in each unit

Family option

  • 2 dedicated Family Cottages, each with two bedrooms, built for parents travelling with children

Wide gravel paths link the cottages through native euphorbia and fever trees, so guests get real privacy between units despite the camp’s small size.
